After a long hiatus, we are happy to return with a new article by one of our new writers, Kyle J. Bolin. During our hiatus, which was a product of a sparse summer, occupational responsibilities, and (mostly) paralyzing complacency, Bryan and I wanted to see what we can cover in addition to video games. We concluded that we need to expand our discussion to include all forms of gaming and gaming cultures and avoid some pressures of keeping a regular schedule to have a steady and regular release of content. The best solution, to us (as we suspected from the beginning), was to find more writers.
So, we are very excited to have Kyle J. Bolin join the No More Lives family. He is a lifelong video gaming and designer board gaming geek, and we think he brings light to a perspective not often included in the larger gaming discussion.
